3) Money Magazine ranked Martinez in Columbia County the 76th Best Place to Live in 2007. In addition, Money Magazine ranked Evans in Columbia County the 32nd Best Place to Live in 2005.
4) Best Life Magazine ranked Augusta the 85th Best Place to Raise a Family in 2008.
5) "Where to Retire" magazine ranked Augusta number four among the United States' low-cost cities to retire, partially due to the area's low cost of living and proximity to a highly regarded health community, in 2005.
6) Money Magazine ranked Evans 9th of the 25 Best Places For Affordable Homes in 2008. The magazine also ranked Augusta's sister city, North Augusta, SC, 7th of the 25 Best Places For Affordable Homes in 2008.
Based on these ratings, the CSRA is an excellent place to live! Actually, I have lived in the CSRA my entire life and I love this area!
